David Wagner is happy Huddersfield were able to sign Switzerland international Florent Hadergjonaj on a season-long loan from Ingolstadt

Huddersfield manager David Wagner says he does not expect to make any more signings following the arrival of right-back Florent Hadergjonaj.

The 23-year-old Switzerland international joined the Terriers on a season-long loan from Bundesliga 2 side Ingolstadt, and Wagner says he is happy with his squad ahead of the transfer window closing.

He said: "I think now we have the group together with players in every position, nobody knows but from my point of view I am very happy."

"Never say never but it was always our target to have every position occupied at least with two players and we've done so far what we've wanted to do.

"I'm very happy with who we've got so far.

"The position we were short in was the right back position over the summer and we're very happy we've found him and been able to sign Florent.

"We're very happy we were able to buy him on loan with the option to sign him, it's the perfect scenario for us.'

"He has everything you need for right back in our system. He's quick enough, his endurance is good, he's had to adapt like we've all had to in the Premier League.

"I have met with him and he is a good character; he is eager to show he can play in the Premier League despite a lot of interest from some top clubs in Germany. I'm looking forward to working with him on the training pitch."

Huddersfield have made a dream start to their Premier League campaign, with back-to-back victories against Crystal Palace and Newcastle United, but Wagner is refusing to get carried away.

He said: "We're happy with the six points. The only thing we really wanted to find out was, do we really have a chance.

"It makes me happy that in every single game we were brave enough to play our idea, our identity and now we've seen in the two games we've played so far, we have a chance and we will now use this."
