Huddersfield’s Jonathan Hogg has returned to training following Davvy Propper's horror tackle and the midfielder is in contention to face Watford this weekend.

Hogg suffered an impact injury after Brighton's Propper's challenge earned him a straight red card in the 1-1 draw between the clubs on Saturday.

Terriers boss David Wagner branded the tackle "too dangerous" and said they would have to assess the damage to Hogg's left leg, which forced him to miss training on Monday and Tuesday.

Wagner could also have young goalkeeper Ryan Schofield available after a long absence that included necessary surgery on his elbow in February.

Huddersfield remain without the services of Elias Kachunga (ankle), Danny Williams (ankle) and Michael Hefele (knee), however, as they pursue Premier League safety.
