Tom Cleverley's in-form Plymouth rallied from a goal down to beat play-off rivals Huddersfield 3-1 and soar to seventh.
Recalled Terriers striker Alfie May put Cameron Humphreys in on goal after 26 minutes and the attacking midfielder dribbled into the box before letting fly with a close range shot to beat Conor Hazard.
Argyle had a 44th-minute penalty appeal turned down when Lee Nicholls felled Owen Dale, who was booked for his protest.

Ronan Curtis' subsequent corner from the left had to be punched clear from under his bar by Nicholls, who was then replaced by substitute keeper Jak Alnwick.
Argyle levelled in the 47th minute after Alnwick twice saved shots off the line. Dale pounced on a clearance in the penalty box to roof the ball home from 12 yards through a crowded six-yard area.
Substitute Cameron Ashia fouled Owen Oseni following a corner and Bim Pepple crashed in the 59th-minute penalty.
Oseni then added a third in the 73rd minute, pouncing to score after Alnwick failed to hold Pepple's thumping strike.
Oseni could have made it 4-1 but fired inches wide in the 86th minute in a one-on-one break.
