Huddersfield pair Matt Crooks and Jordan Sinnott have had their contracts terminated by mutual consent.

Crooks, 21, made one first-team appearance, starting the opening-day home defeat to Bournemouth, and has had loan spells at FC Halifax, Radcliffe Borough, Hartlepool and Accrington.

Sinnott, 20, made five appearances for Town and has had loan spells at Altrincham and Bury.

Town manager Chris Powell told the club's official website: "Matt and Jordan are both great characters to have around the training ground.

"They have been at the club for a number of years and came through the academy.

"Both were due to be out of contract at the conclusion of the current season and we believe it is fair to release them now and give them every chance of securing a future at a new club. Both players leave with our best wishes."
