Brighton midfielder Pascal Gross has signed a new deal with the club until June 2022.
The 26-year-old midfielder joined Albion from Ingolstadt last summer, and played in all 38 Premier League matches, scoring seven goals, before being named the club's player of the season.
Manager Chris Hughton said, "We are delighted that Pascal has agreed a new contract with the club. He has enjoyed an excellent first season with us in the Premier League, and we are really pleased with the impact he has made.
"He settled very quickly and became an integral member of the team. He won the club's Player of the Season award, which was particularly impressive in his first season in England."
Gross, told the club's website: "I'm very pleased to get the new deal done.
"I think we had a very hard year last season and I'm happy to commit my future to the club - it's a very special day for me."
German-born Gross began his career with Hoffenheim, before switching to Karlsruhe in 2011 and joining Ingolstadt in 2012, making 200 appearances in the Bundesliga.
