Marc Pugh to leave Bournemouth at end of season

Marc Pugh will leave Bournemouth when his contract expires this summer, ending his nine-year stay at the club.

The 32-year-old winger joined the Cherries from Hereford United in 2010 and helped the club clinch two promotions in in three seasons as they stepped up from League One into the Premier League.

Pugh has made 312 appearances for the south coast club, scoring 56 goals, and will receive a special presentation prior to Saturday's home game against Tottenham, live on Sky Sports Premier League.

"Marc has been an incredible servant to AFC Bournemouth over the last nine years," said manager Eddie Howe.

"He has epitomised the club's journey through the Football League to where we are today and has not only been a great player on the pitch but a key figure off it, too.
