Baudry & Williamson boost Bournemouth ranks

Bournemouth beat the transfer deadline to sign defender Mathieu Baudry and striker Ben Williamson. As revealed by skysports.com earlier on deadline day, Bournemouth had lined up a deal for French defender Baudry and they have followed that up with the arrival of Williamson. Baudry has arrived from French side Troyes and Williamson has joined on a free transfer having recently been at the Glenn Hoddle Academy in Spain. The duo become Cherries boss Lee Bradbury's first signings since taking charge of the League One hopefuls. Bradbury believes Williamson will prove a valuable addition to the squad after losing Josh McQuoid to Millwall earlier this season. "Ben will be a great addition to the squad," said Bradbury. "He's done well and has scored goals in Spain. He's quick, he scores goals, and he's another striker that's in contention for us."
