Highlights of the Sky Bet League One match between Bradford City and Peterborough United.

Bradford made a winning start in League One with a comfortable 2-0 victory over Peterborough, who finished with 10 men after David Okagbue's red card.

Second-half goals from Macaulay Gillesphey and Nick Powell were enough for last season's play-off semi-finalists to secure three points.

Bradford had dominated the first half without finding a way through.

Gillesphey went close with an early header before Callum Connolly struck the bar with a powerful shot from 25 yards.

Jake Beesley headed over and Will Swan shot straight at keeper Alex Bass after being set up by Kayden Jackson.

But Bradford were ahead eight minutes after the restart as Bass was caught out by Connolly's corner and defender Gillesphey headed home at the far post.

Peterborough nearly equalised when Harry Leonard's close-range attempt was deflected onto the bar by Bradford keeper Jon McCracken.

But the home side doubled their lead on 75 minutes when Powell turned in a low cross from Adam Phillips.

Peterborough defender Okagbue was dismissed for a second booking after a high boot to Connolly's head.
