Ian Breckin and Jack Lester should return for Chesterfield while Paul Green should be fit for Lincoln.

Duo set to return for Spireites; Green likely to boost Imps

Ian Breckin and Jack Lester should return to the Chesterfield squad for Saturday's League Two visit of Lincoln. The experienced duo rested minor niggles for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy win at Walsall. However, Breckin may find it tough to get back into the side after Dwayne Mattis' excellent display as a stand-in centre-half on Tuesday night. Danny Whitaker is likely to return to the starting XI after the midfielder was a substitute at the Banks's Stadium. Defenders Rob Page (Achilles) and Gregor Robertson (broken leg) are stepping up their training and hope to be back in the first team shortly. Page has been sidelined for the last three weeks but Robertson has been an absentee since November.

Lincoln news

Paul Green is expected to be fit as Chris Sutton takes his Lincoln team to the b2net Stadium. The defender was withdrawn as a precautionary measure just before half-time in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat to Rotherham in midweek with a back problem. Captain Scott Kerr returned from a back injury at the Don Valley Stadium. He managed 90 minutes without suffering any ill-effects and should be involved once more. Experienced duo Jamie Clapham and Ian Pearce are expected to return to the starting line-up after being rested against the Millers. New signing Adifane Noussoura is unlikely to be pushing for a starting role just yet but could be included in the squad. Albert Jarrett is still away on international duty with Sierra Leone, while fellow midfielders Gavin McCallum and Mustapha Carayol remain out.
