Chesterfield and Swindon Town will battle for silverware at Wembley on Sunday as both sides look to win the Johnstone's Paint Trophy for the first time. Despite being in different divisions, there is only one place between the two sides in the Football League standings, with Chesterfield bottom of League One and Swindon top of League Two. Chesterfield have picked up just two wins in their last 10 league games, but did overcome difficult opponents in Preston in the Northern Area semi-final and defeated Oldham in both legs of the Northern final. Swindon's path to the final was somewhat easier, beating AFC Wimbeldon in the Southern semi-final and Barnet in the Southern final. However, eight wins in their last 10 league games means they are not a side to be taken lightly heading into the game.

Caddis

Swindon captain Paul Caddis is facing a race against time to be fit for the clash on Sunday. Caddis has missed the Robins' last three League Two matches because of an ankle injury and, even if he does make the matchday squad, the Scot is unlikely to be fit enough to start against the Spireites. Forward Jonathan Tehoue and winger Luke Rooney are both unavailable to manager Paolo Di Canio. The pair played for Leyton Orient and Gillingham respectively in the earlier rounds of the competition, making them cup-tied this weekend. Centre-back Aden Flint is over his groin injury and could start, while new loan signings Jay McEveley and John Bostock could both make their debuts at English football's headquarters. However, left-back Alessandro Cibocchi is struggling with a foot problem and the Robins are without forward Billy Bodin who has joined Crewe Alexandra on an emergency loan deal.
Cup-tied
Chesterfield manager John Sheridan has everyone fit for the Wembley showdown. The only players who will not be available on Sunday are cup-tied trio Neal Trotman, Liam Ridehalgh and Nicky Ajose. In Trotman's absence, veteran striker Jack Lester will probably be recalled to captain the side. Simon Ford is likely to replace Trotman and partner Josh Thompson at the heart of defence. Defenders Gregor Robertson and Jamie Lowry and midfielders Danny Whitaker and Jimmy Juan are also options for Sheridan and will hope to be involved in the Wembley showpiece.
