Brentford are among a number of clubs keen on Charlton striker Karlan Ahearne-Grant, Sky Sports News understands.
The Championship side are in the market for another forward option this month and Ahearne-Grant has impressed in League One, scoring his 14th goal of the season in Saturday's 1-0 win over Accrington Stanley.
Huddersfield and Millwall are also reported to be interested in the Greenwich-born 21-year-old.
Brentford are also on the hunt for a replacement centre-back for Chris Mepham, who completed a £12m move to Bournemouth on Tuesday.
The West London club were interested in Olympiacos's Bjorn Engels last summer but he is currently on a season-long loan at French club Stade de Reims and it is not thought he can be recalled to make a move elsewhere.
