Tabb on the transfer list

Brentford's Ireland Under-21 international Jay Tabb has been put on the transfer list.

Brentford's Republic of Ireland Under-21 international Jay Tabb has been put on the transfer list.

The midfielder was integral to The Bees' push for promotion from League One this season, scoring in the fruitless play-off tie with Swansea City.

However, his insistence that he should play at a higher level looks set to put an end to his career at Griffin Park.

Defeat to Swansea in the play-offs has meant that boss Martin Allen was forced to put Tabb up for sale.

Defender John Mousinho, meanwhile, has signed a new two-year deal, while front man Ryan Peters has signed a one-year deal.

On-loan striker Darren Pratley has returned to Craven Cottage, and been offered a one year contract at Fulham, and that is a situation the boss will monitor.

Michael Dobson and Ricky Newman have been given free transfers, while Scott Fitzgerald and Paul Brooker have also been released.

Allen has not yet been able to offer new contracts to Kevin O'Connor, Michael Turner, Eddie Hutchinson, Ademole Bankole, Junior Lewis, Marcus Gayle, Isiah Rankin and Jamie Smith, but will continue negotiations with the players over the summer.
