Championship: Brentford boss Mark Warburton angered by refereeing decisions

Brentford boss Mark Warburton has vowed to get nasty in the dug-out after seeing a series of decisions go against his side.
Warburton was fuming after Tuesday night's 3-0 defeat by Norwich, when Alex Pritchard was sent sprawling by Jos Hooiveld in the penalty area but no spot-kick was given and City promptly broke to the other end to go two goals ahead.
Warburton also pointed to a refereeing decision on Saturday against Brighton, when Seagulls defender Lewis Dunk escaped a red card for hauling down Andre Gray, while Bees captain Tony Craig was sent off for a similar incident against Birmingham recently.
So the Griffin Park chief is ready to ditch his nice guy image and start bending the ears of the officials.
"Maybe we are too polite and too respectful as a bench," he said.
"I get phone calls from people saying well done to our bench. Maybe we let the players down in that respect. With what happened to Dunk after 12 minutes on Saturday and Tony Craig after 17 minutes, it seems to be a pattern.
"You can see our frustration. I don't want us to be regarded as little old Brentford.
"I don't want my staff to go ranting and raving at officials. That is not the impression I want to give about our club, we are better than that, but maybe we need to look at it. Maybe if you get in the faces of people that's the way forward. I don't know."
Second-half goals from Alexander Tettey and Cameron Jerome's double sank the Bees after they had dominated the first period, and Warburton feels his side are not getting the respect they deserve.
He added: "I don't want to be perceived as a small club. Everyone talked about Norwich being able to go top of the table if they beat us, but I did not hear too many people mentioning we could possibly go second.
"We are not small guests at the party. There are a lot of very good players in that dressing room."
