Northampton Town boss Chris Wilder is one of four nominations for November's Sky Bet League Two manager of the month award.
Wilder oversaw a perfect month for the Cobblers on the pitch as they claimed four wins to move into the automatic promotion places, while last month also saw the completion of a takeover to bring an end to their lingering financial concerns.
He faces competition from new Newport County manager John Sheridan, Oxford United boss Michael Appleton and Accrington Stanley's John Coleman for the prize.
Appleton's side claimed three 1-0 wins in November in taking 10 points from 12, while Coleman guided Accrington to seven points from three exciting games which saw them score 10 goals.
Sheridan led County to an unbeaten month with six points from four games as they moved out of the relegation zone.
Oxford also have an interest in the player of the month nominations, with defender Johnny Mullins one of four players in with a chance of victory.
The U's only conceded one goal in November, with newly-appointed captain Mullins proving to be a rock at the heart of their defence.
At the other end of the pitch Leyton Orient striker Jay Simpson enjoyed a prolific month, scoring four of their six goals to take his tally to 15 for the season.
Carlisle left-back Danny Grainger, one of the Cumbrians players to offer help in the aftermath of Storm Desmond last weekend, is also nominated after scoring both goals in their 2-2 draw with Portsmouth to add to a solid month at the back.
The player nominations are completed by exciting Stevenage winger Chris Whelpdale, who scored four goals in the month including two superb individual efforts in a hat-trick against Morecambe.
