Oxford manager Michael Appleton is expected to make changes as his side host Dagenham in Sky Bet League Two action on Tuesday.

Appleton is without his captain Jake Wright, who remains in the treatment room with a hamstring injury, while Ryan Taylor (groin) and Sam Long (hip) are also on the sidelines.

The U's boss expressed his disappointment at his team's performance in the 1-0 defeat to Leyton Orient at the weekend.

Appleton has plenty of options to freshen his team up but Benji Buchel is set to keep his place in goal after coming through Saturday's game unscathed following a side strain.

Dagenham's John Still is similarly expected to make changes after his strugglers were beaten 3-1 by Hartlepool at the weekend.

The defeat - the Daggers' sixth in their last nine games - left them nine points adrift of safety with 10 fixtures left.

Still will hope the return of Joss Labadie following a two-match ban can give the team a boost while Scotland Under-21 international Dominic Hyam expects to be available after a head injury.
