Keith Curle has a clean bill of health ahead of Carlisle's Sky Bet League Two clash at home to Leyton Orient.

Jason Kennedy came off the bench during last weekend's 1-1 draw with Accrington after missing the three previous matches due to injury and could be pushing for a starting place.

Shaun Brisley is fully fit after picking up a knock in the 5-4 Checkatrade Trophy win over Oldham which caused him to miss last weekend's match.

No training injuries were picked up by senior players during their first week without a midweek match this season.

Boss Andy Hessenthaler could name an unchanged side as Orient travel back up to the north-west after last week's win at Morecambe.

Callum Kennedy is set to retain his place at left-back after producing a particularly impressive performance in the 2-1 win.

But the trip to Brunton Park is likely to come too soon for striker Jay Simpson who has been sidelined with a back injury since August.

Simpson, who was linked with a move away from the club in the transfer window, is expected to be declared fit within the next fortnight.
