Portsmouth skipper Michael Doyle will return from suspension for their Sky Bet League Two clash against Mansfield.

Doyle missed Pompey's FA Cup first-round exit against Wycombe last weekend but is available for selection.

But Pompey boss Paul Cook will still be without Amine Linganzi who serves the second game of this ban. Fit-again defender Drew Talbot should keep his place in the starting XI after featuring for the first time since August midweek.

Conor Chaplin and Carl Baker are pushing for starts after missing the past two matches.

Mansfield are close to full strength after reporting no new injury problems following the EFL Trophy tie with Derby this week.

George Taft remains the only concern but he is back in training following several weeks out with a hamstring strain. However, Saturday looks like it will come too soon for the centre-half.

Stags boss Adam Murray made five changes at the iPro Stadium and faces a welcome selection dilemma after seeing his team beat the Championship side.
