Stevenage v Barnet preview
Sunday 1 April 2018 14:26, UK
Dino Maamria is still looking for his first win as Stevenage boss and will check on a couple of defenders for the visit of Barnet.
Joe Martin and Jack King have picked up knocks this week but both played in the Good Friday draw against Grimsby and will be monitored.
Maamria will also check on the fitness of midfield trio Ben Kennedy, Ben Sheaf and Dale Gorman, all of whom were on international duty this week but featured against the Mariners. Maamria began his reign with a 1-0 defeat at home to Colchester last week and followed it up with the 0-0 draw with Town.
Goalkeeper Jamie Stephens remains sidelined for Barnet. Stephens is troubled by a knee problem so Craig Ross is likely to continue between the posts.
Defender Richard Brindley and forward Jean-Louis Akpa-Akpro returned from injuries against Crewe and will again be involved. Harry Taylor (broken metatarsal), Elliott Johnson and Dave Tarpey (knee) remain long-term absentees.
