Sky Sports understands that the Premier League club ready to take Southend ace Bilel Mohsni on trial is West Ham United.

Sky Sports understands that the Premier League club ready to take Southend ace Bilel Mohsni on trial is West Ham United. The 24-year-old defender, who can also play as a striker, has been linked with a host of clubs over the past 12 months. Stoke City and Blackpool have both seen offers rejected by Southend, but now they have confirmed that they have agreed to let him train with an unnamed club. Sky Sports can confirm that the team in question is West Ham, and he is due to link up with them this week. Mohsni has just a year left on his current deal, after Southend took up the 12-month option they had on him at the end of last season.
