Walsall 0-0 Rochdale

Toothless Walsall played out a fourth 0-0 draw in eight games as lowly Rochdale grafted for a hard-earned League Two point.
Walsall steadily built pressure after a tame opening, Nils Ramming producing a smart double stop at the near post from Mason Hancock and Aaron Pressley after 25 minutes.
Dale grew into the game, with Dajaune Brown's cushioned effort from the left edge of the area hitting the face of the bar in the 29th minute, while the Derby loanee's low drive was pushed around the near post one-handed by Jed Ward five minutes before half-time.

Hancock had a close-range shot saved, with James Connolly's follow-up header scrambled off the line by Dan Moss seven minutes into the second half, and, while the Saddlers maintained pressure, the final ball was lacking.
The home side's fortunes were summed up when Harvey Gilmour's kamikaze backpass went straight to Pressley, only for the striker to gift Kaiden Wilson a chance to clear with a heavy touch 11 minutes from time.
Substitute Lewis Simper's bicycle kick flew straight into Ramming's gloves deep into added time, but there would be no breakthrough.
