May opened the scoring after 15 minutes when he slotted home Leon Ayinde's cross following a mistake from Posh youngster Harley Mills.

It was a goal that came against the run of play as the hosts had enjoyed the best of the early exchanges, with Owura Edwards heading wide at the back post in the opening minutes.
Sean Grehan could have doubled the visitors lead but could not get a clean contact on Robbie Gotts' corner before the defender threw himself in front of Edwards' shot.
Posh went about trying to get back into the contest after the break but the Doncaster defence was out quick to stop shots from Carl Johnston and Mills, while Harry Leonard also saw his effort rebuffed.
Doncaster had only mustered two second-half shots before substitutes Hutchinson and Jordan Thomas combined to double the lead.
Thomas crossed for the sliding Hutchinson to tap in and secure Doncaster's first win of the campaign.
