New Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli has been named on a four-man shortlist for the Sky Bet League One player of the month award.
The 19-year-old, who has been loaned back to MK Dons following his £5m deadline-day move, played a starring role in the club's rise to second top of the division.
During the period he scored two vital goals for Karl Robinson's side, an injury-time equaliser in the 2-2 draw at Crawley and the opener in a 2-0 home victory over Barnsley.
Alli is joined on the list by Doncaster Rovers central defender Andy Butler, who celebrated his permanent transfer from Sheffield United by helping Rovers go unbeaten during the month, while chipping in with a goal against Chesterfield.
Colchester centre-half Tom Eastman, one of the major reasons behind the club's upturn in fortunes since the start of the year, and Scunthorpe striker Tom Hopper, who scored four goals in as many games during the period, complete the shortlist.
Bristol City boss Steve Cotterill has been included in the quartet of nominations for the manager of the month award.
Despite his side playing just two league matches, the six points, six goals and two clean sheets - along with securing a trip to Wembley in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy - secured his position in the final four.
Keith Hill's Rochdale amassed seven points from three unbeaten games, a return which keeps them in the play-off picture and on course for their highest league finish, while Oldham's Lee Johnston re-ignited his side's promotion push, scoring at least two goals in each of their four games, the highlight a 3-0 win over Notts County.
And the trio are accompanied on the shortlist by Robinson, whose in-form Dons collected 11 points from five unbeaten games, culminating with a 5-0 victory at improving Crewe Alexandra.
