Goalkeeper arrives on loan until end of the season

Wycombe Wanderers have snapped up Manchester United goalkeeper Tom Heaton on loan. Heaton has joined the Chairboys on a temporary deal until the end of the season. The England Under-21 international has yet to make a senior appearance for United, but has enjoyed numerous spells away from the club. Chairboys boss Gary Waddock was happy to bring in the highly-rated custodian. "I'm delighted to have signed someone of his quality," Waddock told the club's official website. "Coming from a club like United and with the league experience he has gained, I'm sure that Tom will be a very good acquisition. "Manchester United have been very helpful in letting Tom join us and I'm looking forward to working with him."
