Barnet 3-1 Fleetwood

Goals from Kabongo Tshimanga, Charlie Lakin and Idris Kanu sent Barnet top of League Two as they maintained their unbeaten start with a 3-1 victory over Fleetwood at the Hive.

The visitors made a strong start as Lewis McCann fired an effort that forced Matthew Cox to tip the ball over the bar.

The hosts responded as Cox sent a long ball forward, which Tshimanga collected before rounding Jay Lynch, only for his effort to be cleared off the line by Adam Murphy.

Barnet were awarded a penalty in the 10th minute when Tshimanga was brought down by Lynch, and he converted from the spot.

Fleetwood equalised nine minutes before half-time. Danny Andrew's effort was saved by Cox before Murphy hit a post, with Will Davies poking home the rebound.

On the hour mark, the Bees regained their lead as Lakin reacted quickest to a ricochet and bundled the ball into the net.
