Bob McHugh scored a late equaliser as 10-man Falkirk produced a stunning fightback to earn a 2-2 draw with Hibernian.
The hosts took the lead after 10 minutes when Jason Cummings rolled the ball into the back of Danny Rogers' net from the middle of the box.
Falkirk were reduced to 10 men after 74 minutes when Aaron Muirhead picked up his second booking and things went from bad to worse five minutes later when Hibs were awarded a penalty after Paul Hanlon had been fouled in the box.
Cummings scored from the spot to put his side 2-0 up and it looked as though they would narrow the gap to three points over the second-placed side, but the visitors pulled one back through David McCracken with three minutes left of the 90.
And McHugh earned Falkirk a share of the spoils after heading home from the middle of the area in the 90th minute.
Christian Nade netted a brace as Dumbarton came from behind to beat Queen of the South 4-2 in a topsy-turvy clash.
The hosts opened the scoring after four minutes when Nade tucked the ball beyond Robbie Thomson but Queens were level in the 28th minute when Iain Russell found the top corner from the middle of the box.
The visitors took the lead two minutes before the break when Alex Harris slotted past Jamie Ewings.
But Dumbarton flew out of the blocks in the second half, with Tom Walsh levelling things up in the 48th minute before Nade put his side ahead two minutes later.
Garry Fleming made the points safe in the 86th minute when he scored from the penalty spot after Gregor Buchanan had been fouled in the box.
