Aberdeen's season ended on a low note as they suffered a third successive Scottish Premiership defeat with Ross County easing to a 4-0 victory at Pittodrie.

The visitors had failed to win their previous four post-split fixtures but goals from Brian Graham, Alex Schalk, Liam Boyce and Martin Woods sent the 262 Staggies fans in the crowd of 10,003 home happy.

A lively start saw debutant Dons 'keeper Arron Lennox save from Jackson Irvine before Scott Fox denied Scott Wright at the other end.

Graham broke the deadlock from the penalty spot in the 23rd minute after Australian Lennox had brought down Schalk in the area after racing off his line.

Schalk made it 2-0 just before the break with a bicycle-kick finish into the corner of the net from Graham's knock-down.

Lennox had to be quick off his line to foil Schalk after the restart and Graham fired wide from 25 yards as County continued to press, although Fox made a brilliant save to keep out Willo Flood's header as Aberdeen tried to get back into the game.

Cummins made it 2-0 three minutes later as he scrambled the ball home from Danny Swanson's corner.

Hearts pulled one back in the 17th minute thanks to Djoum's looping header from Prince Buaben's centre and the scores were level just four minutes later through Joe Shaughnessy's own goal, the defender heading Buaben's inswinging cross past Alan Mannus.

Mannus then took centre stage as he kept out Abiola Dauda's shot and header, while Hearts defender Callum Paterson cleared Swanson's shot off the line.

Cummins fired over for the visitors after the break and Mannus kept out Paterson's header before the hosts were reduced to 10 men in the 57th minute when Dauda saw red for a reckless challenge on Craig.
