Scottish Championship play-off: Ayr United hold nerve to seal promotion

Goalkeeper Greg Fleming was the penalty shoot-out hero for Ayr United as he saved three Stranraer spot-kicks to seal their return to the Scottish Championship after a four-year absence.
The sides had drawn 1-1 in the first leg on Wednesday and again there was little between them at Somerset Park in a game of few chances.
After a tense, goalless 120 minutes, Fleming sparked wild celebrations as he saved from Paul Cairney, Jamie Longworth and David Barron before Andy Graham fired in to seal a 3-1 shoot-out success.
The Honest Men were runners-up to runaway winners Dunfermline in League One, while Stranraer had finished fourth, 10 points behind Ayr.
