Hearts missed the chance to move up to second in the Scottish Premiership after they were held to a thrilling 3-3 draw at Inverness Caledonian Thistle on Saturday.
Goals from David Raven (14) and Lonsana Doumbouya (31) had put Inverness firmly in control in the Highlands, but Hearts battled back to restore parity with Bjorn Johnsen (38) and Faycal Rherras (51) getting on target.
Inverness regained the lead through Aaron Doran (54), only for Hearts to equalise once more, with Arnaud Djoum (74) earning the away side a point.
Despite failing to secure victory, Hearts move up a place to third, while Inverness remain in sixth.
St Johnstone also missed the chance to move into the top two after suffering a 2-1 home defeat to Partick Thistle.
Kris Doolan (17) gave Partick the lead at McDiarmid Park, but their joy was short-lived with Steven MacLean (18) equalising within a minute.
However, Partick were not to be denied all three points and Abdul Osman (90+1) grabbed their winner, firing a powerful right-footed shot past St Johnstone goalkeeper Zander Clark.
St Johnstone drop to fifth following the defeat, while Partick move up two places to seventh.
Motherwell ended their three-game losing streak with an emphatic 4-1 victory over Ross County at Fir Park.
Veteran forward Scott McDonald (8) set Motherwell on their way to victory, heading home from close range, before Ross County defender Kenny van der Weg (32) fired into his own net.
Richard Tait (51) and Lionel Ainsworth (62) put the result beyond any doubt, with Alex Schalk (78) scoring a late consolation for Ross County.
Bottom club Dundee won for just the second time this season, defeating Hamilton 1-0.
Paul McGowan (62) scored the only goal of the game at New Douglas Park to move Dundee level on points with 11th placed Ross County. Hamilton drop two places to 10th following the defeat.
