It's been a particularly busy week in Scottish football with cup replays, lawyers, Lee Clark and the LMA all playing their part.

The managerial search at Rangers continues as the club announced its intention to move to a Director of Football/Head coach structure, while Mark Warburton released a statement through the League Manager's Association insisting he "at no stage" resigned from his position at Ibrox.

Lee Clark has left Kilmarnock to join English League One side Bury and Mark McGhee says he is considering consulting a lawyer after being sent off at Pittodrie on Wednesday.

Chief news reporter Bryan Swanson has the latest on Mark Warburton's claims that he didn't resign as Rangers manager

This all came after two Scottish Cup fifth round replays went to extra-time, and one to penalties, on Tuesday.

The draw for the quarter-finals threw up home ties for the favourites but it's back to league action this weekend, with a double header live on Sky Sports this Sunday.

Adam Rooney scored a hat-trick as Aberdeen thrashed Motherwell at Pittodrie

Commentary team Ian Crocker & Andy Walker are on hand to run through their predictions and the players to look out for in the Scottish Premiership.

Celtic v Motherwell - Saturday 3pm

Despite their 7-2 thrashing at the hands of Aberdeen on Wednesday, Mark McGhee's side can take solace in the fact they were the last team to win a league match at Celtic Park back in December 2015.

On top of that, Louis Moult has scored four in his last five Premiership appearances against Saturday's opponents.

Celtic have gone behind in four matches so far in the league this season, including against Motherwell in December, but have come back to record victories in all of those games.

Andy Walker's prediction:
Celtic 5-0 Motherwell

Key player: Kieran Tierney

Enjoying a fabulous season and blossoming under Brendan Rodgers.

Ian Crocker's prediction:
Celtic 4-0 Motherwell

Key player: Moussa Dembele

What an absolute steal he's been for Celtic. Must be due a hat-trick!

Hearts v Inverness CT - Saturday 3pm

Hearts have only lost one of their last eleven home matches in the league, winning seven of those, and are unbeaten in the last four meetings with Inverness CT.

Richie Foran's men are still without a win in their last 13 league matches and have kept just one clean sheet in their last 13 Premiership visits to Tynecastle.

Andy Walker's prediction:
Hearts 3-1 Inverness CT

Key player: Alexandros Tziolis

Calm and steady influence in Hearts midfield.

Key player: Isma Goncalves

He's got something about him as he proved at St Mirren a few years ago.

Partick Thistle v Hamilton Accies - Saturday 3pm

Five out of the last six meetings between Partick Thistle and Hamilton Accies have all ended in draws.

Partick don't tend to start quickly and are the only team not to score in the opening 15 minutes of a league match this season, while Hamilton have dropped the most points from winning positions (24).

Andy Walker's prediction:
Partick Thistle 1-1 Hamilton Accies

Key player: Michael Devlin

Defender Michael Devlin is sure to be the key to Accies chances of survival this season.

Key player: Remi Matthews

Accies' shootout hero in the Cup may fancy keeping it clean at Firhill.

Ross County v St Johnstone - Saturday 3pm

You can always count on goals in Dingwall! The last time there was a scoreless draw in the league was back in March 2013, that's 74 matches without a 0-0.

And to add to that, none of St Johnstone's previous 44 away matches have ended goalless since a stalemate with Partick Thistle back in October 2014.

Andy Walker's prediction:
Ross County 2-1 St Johnstone

Key player: Liam Boyce

County will escape any relegation trouble thanks to his goals.

Key player: Jim O'Brien

Back in Scotland and should play a prominent part for the Staggies.

Kilmarnock v Aberdeen - Live on Sky Sports 1 & 5 from 12.30pm

New interim manager Lee McCulloch will have to look to his roots as a striker to inspire his side this weekend. The Rugby Park club have scored the fewest amount of goals so far in the Premiership, with just 21 in 24 matches.

Aberdeen have won their previous 12 league encounters with Kilmarnock, including a 4-0 win on their last visit to Rugby Park in October.

Andy Walker's prediction:
Kilmarnock 0-3 Aberdeen

Key player: Ryan Christie

On loan Celtic man can help Aberdeen push hard for 2nd place.

Dundee v Rangers - Sunday Live on Sky Sports 1 & 5 from 3pm

Dundee are unbeaten at home in their last six league matches, following a run of six without a win at the start of the season (D2 L4).

Rangers have won just one of their latest five Scottish Premiership matches with Graeme Murty getting off to a winning start as caretaker manager in the Scottish Cup against Morton last weekend.

Andy Walker's prediction:
Dundee 1-2 Rangers

Key player: Lee Wallace

Now that Mark Warburton has gone, leadership is essential for Rangers, Wallace can provide it on the pitch.
