Celtic face Old Firm rivals Rangers in the second William Hill Scottish Cup semi-final at Hampden Park on Sunday, live on Sky Sports from 2.15pm.
The Scottish Premiership champions, who have gone nine games against their Glasgow rivals without defeat, are aiming to take the next step towards an unprecedented second successive domestic treble.
Celtic defender Mikael Lustig believes Rangers will be wondering what they have to do to beat the Hoops heading into Sunday's clash.
"Obviously you need to find a new way to play or do something different and that cannot be good," he said.
"But we will see what they do. We should be favourites, absolutely."
On that theme, Lustig claims Rangers, 13 points behind the league leaders, have taken only a "small step" towards closing the gap on Celtic.
"They have been struggling a bit and they have tried everything to take new players in and make them a better team so of course it seems they have maybe taken a small step," he said.
"Last season we were 30 points ahead of them and it is not that amount right now.
"If you look at it that way, they have maybe become a little bit closer, but we have the chance to win a treble, but we are still not really happy with the way we have been playing this season.
"We know we can do better. If we look to ourselves as well, we feel we can play better."
Rangers, meanwhile, are looking for their first Old Firm win in 10 matches and will no doubt be keen to avenge March's 3-2 defeat at Ibrox.
However, Lustig believes that clash last month, when the visitors came back from behind twice and finished the game with 10 men, will give the Celtic players added confidence.
He said: "It is massive, the way things happened in the game.
"They probably thought they had a really good chance to win it and we go down one man and still win, it is really good for us.
"Of course they haven't won in a bit against us so they probably saw the opportunity."
Graeme Murty, however, has backed Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos to finally break his Old Firm duck at Hampden on Sunday.
The Colombian leads Gers' scoring charts this term with 18 goals, but has yet to find the net against bitter rivals Celtic.
"I've seen Alfredo saying in the press that he is going to score - that's the mindset of a centre forward," he said.
"I believe in the old adage that you'd rather have centre-forwards in the position to miss chances than have them not getting there.
"I believe that Alfredo does get there, that we can find him in there and I do believe that given the opportunity, he could hit the back of the net for us."
Midfielder Stuart Armstrong will be assessed due to a calf injury, while defender Jack Hendry is cup-tied having played for Dundee in an earlier round.
Nir Bitton (knee) and Jonny Hayes (broken leg) are also both still out.
Meanwhile, Rangers forward Josh Windass has handed boss Graeme Murty a boost heading into the game. The 24-year-old suffered a calf injury when he was clattered by Motherwell defender Cedric Kipre a fortnight ago and sat out last Saturday's win over Dundee.
However, having trained fully on Friday, he is in contention for the semi-final.
Skipper Lee Wallace (groin) and Jordan Rossiter (ankle) also rejoin Murty's squad, meaning Hamburg-bound defender David Bates (ankle) and midfielder Ryan Jack (knee) are the only absentees.
