Midfielder happy to commit future to SPL club

Kilmarnock have rewarded Liam Kelly with a new contract to keep the midfielder at Rugby Park until 2013. Kelly has become a key member of Mixu Paatelainen's plans this season and has made 14 appearances in all competitions. The 20-year-old did not hesitate to commit his future to the SPL club and was happy to be handed a new two-and-a-half year deal. He said: "I'm delighted. As soon as he came to me about extending the contract, I was more than happy to do so. "Hopefully over the next two-and-a-half years we will take the club forward and I will improve as a player."
