Gaziantepspor are battling with Rangers to land Swedish Under-21 international striker Mervan Celik.

Gaziantepspor are battling with Rangers to land Swedish Under-21 international striker Mervan Celik. Celik had been linked with Championship sides Middlesbrough and West Ham, whilst in Italy Parma and Genoa were also credited with an interest. But his agent has now admitted that at the moment it is a two-horse race with Rangers competing with Gaziantepspor. Celik, who also has Turkish parentage, is currently out of contract with Swedish club GAIS. "Mervan will take a decision on the future over the next few days," his agent Hasan Cetinkaya confirmed. "Right now there are two clubs that there is between, but I do not want to comment on any club's name at the moment."
