Celtic manager Ronny Deila does not expect any major changes at Molde despite Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's return to the club ahead of their Europa League game on Thursday night.

Solskjaer was in charge of the Norwegian side for three years and guided them to consecutive league titles and the Norwegian Cup during his three years in charge.

The former Manchester United striker joined Cardiff City in January 2014 but he struggled to make an impact in south Wales and his tenure lasted less than nine months.

Solskjaer confirmed on Wednesday morning he would return to Molde for a second spell in charge of the club where he began his playing career, although he is set to take a back seat for the Celtic game.

Erling Moe - who has been in caretaker charge since Tor Ole Skullerud departed in August - will remain in control for the game and Deila expects a seamless transition of power

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been appointed as manager of Molde less than two years after leaving the No

"They have worked together many years and they know each other well," said Deila.

"Solskjaer built the club up together with a lot of the people who are here now.

"It is not so long since he was last here and 90 per cent of the players played under him the last time.

"He is coming back and the club is in good condition so I don't think they will revolutionise the team or do something very different."

After a win away to Fenerbahce in their Group A opener and a draw at home to Ajax, Molde are top with four points, two ahead of the Scottish champions, to leave Deila impressed by the Tippeligaen club's start to the European campaign.

"I am not sure if I am surprised, I am impressed that they have got four points," he added.

"Winning in Turkey is always hard and they got a point against Ajax at home. I think they have done a very good job."
