New Celtic assistant manager Chris Davies is relishing the challenge that lies ahead with the Scottish champions.
The 31-year-old was reunited with Brendan Rodgers on May 26 following a short stint at Reading, where he began his career as a player.
Davies was part of Reading's youth team under the new Celtic boss and he then worked as a coach with Rodgers at Swansea and Liverpool.
The duo will look to continue Celtic's stranglehold on the domestic front after the club secured their fifth successive league title in May.
Davies is confident the Northern Irishman can meet the expectations of the Hoops supporters, who showed their enthusiasm for his appointment when 13,000 turned up for his arrival at Celtic Park last month.
"Celtic is a massive club and Brendan Rodgers' unveiling last week was sensational. It's a great honour to be here," Davies said.
"I've worked with Brendan for a long time and as backroom staff we bring a lot of experience to the top level of the game.
"I have a really big interest in the tactical side of the game and to help improve the players individually is where my strength lies.
"Brendan is open for a challenge. He's a calm person and his temperament is phenomenal. That's why he's able to take a job like this.
"We know this is one of the biggest clubs in the world and the expectancy is clear. We know we need to win every game."
Celtic are expected to have a big turnover in the squad during the summer and Davies is sure the club will attract players of good standing in their quest to reach the Champions League group stage in the new campaign.
"I think we can attract quality here at Celtic, big quality. There is no doubt about it," Davies said.
"To come to this amazing club was a chance I wasn't going to turn down. Champions League is a big focus and winning trophies is a must."
