Celtic have begun the installation of the first 'safe standing' section in Scotland.
The club was given permission to introduce the new 3,000 'rail seating' last summer and work to clear the existing seats got under way in May this year.
The first rail seats have now been put in place in the north-west section of the ground and work will continue to complete the project ahead of the new season.
A club statement read: "Demand from supporters for a place in the revamped area has been huge as the club embarks on a new era under manager Brendan Rodgers.
"The introduction of the rail seating section is seen as a significant investment in spectator safety by the club, allowing fans in the area to stand safely at matches."
