Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers believes his squad are starting to feel comfortable with the system he is implementing at the club.
The Hoops, chasing a sixth successive title, hold a 10-point lead over League Cup final opponents Aberdeen at the top of the Scottish Premiership having made their best start to a season since 2001.
Celtic have won all but one of their 14 domestic games this season, scoring 42 goals while they have also kept six consecutive clean sheets domestically, but Rodgers anticipates further improvement in the coming months.
"The team now understand how we want to work and we have a philosophy here in terms of defending and you can see that in the players and their intensity," Rodgers said in the Celtic View.
"You do that to be close to goal and to create chances but we're still improving all the time, there's lots of development left within it but they are showing their qualities both with and without the ball at the moment.
"We just need to continue that after the international break. It's very early but we're only focusing on ourselves, our own improvements and our own game. If we do that then we can be a real threat.
"There will be a bit of rest, some of them need some game time and we hope all the international boys come back safely."
