Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has been named Scottish Premiership Manager of the Month for October.

It is the second time this season the Hoops manager has won the award, having picked up the prize for August as well.

Celtic have not lost a domestic fixture this season, with Inverness CT the only side to avoid defeat to the five-in-a-row champions.

Rodgers guided his team to four league wins in October without conceding a goal as Celtic beat Motherwell 2-0 at home, while winning 1-0 away to Dundee and title challengers Aberdeen and 4-0 at Ross County.

And as he prepares for Friday's trip to Kilmarnock, Rodgers gave credit to the players and coaching staff in their contribution to Celtic's success.

"It's a mark of how the team and the staff are really working well together," Rodgers said.
