Leigh Griffiths expects to be back scoring soon after returning from injury in Celtic's 2-0 win over Hamilton on Saturday.

Griffiths came off the bench for his first appearance in a month in the victory secured by two Moussa Dembele goals.

A couple of promising situations failed to bring a 14th goal of the season for the striker, whose season has been upset by calf injuries and Dembele's form.

Brendan Rodgers recently said Griffiths "could still work harder in training" but there is no problem with the manager, according to the Scotland international.

"Being injured is so frustrating," he said. "Everyone has been talking about if there is a rift between the gaffer and me after what he said, but it is great to be back on the pitch, back amongst the boys and in the match-day squad.

"Earlier in the season the [attacks that broke down] would probably have come off but I am just lacking a bit of match fitness just now.

"But hopefully in the coming weeks I will get more and more game time and hopefully I am back amongst the goals."
