Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers admits he has sympathy for Rangers manager Graeme Murty due to the fallout of losing to his side in the Scottish Cup semi-final.
Rangers striker Kenny Miller and captain Lee Wallace has been suspended from the club following a dressing-room bust-up with Murty.
Murty's contract is set to end in the summer and it is still unknown whether or not he will be staying on at the club.
Rodgers said: "It's not easy management and when you are in that situation with 50,000 passionate supporters watching, you are having too amongst it all think as clearly as you can.
"You are under huge pressure and expectation. I have empathy there for every manager and for Graeme in this situation.
"When you are always trying to develop an environment and a culture, dynamic culture for people to improve, the command element of it is lonely.
"You always have to think and everyone else is developing around you. But that is what you have to do as a leader.
"You have to manage the expectations of your supporters, your board and your players and look to lead that way. It is certainly not easy."
Celtic could win their seventh league title in a row on Saturday when they take on Neil Lennon's Hibernian at Easter Road and Rodgers praised the club for their stability.
"I am fortunate here, when I come in I had good freedom, when I spoke with Dermot Desmond and Peter Lawwell in that very first meeting they have never shirked from the words they gave me on that day," he added.
"I am fortunate I am at a club that has that stability and allows me to develop it from a football perspective."
