Southampton have agreed a fee with Celtic for attacking midfielder Stuart Armstrong.
The 26-year-old is now discussing terms with the Premier League club to make the switch from Celtic Park to St Mary's.
Sky Sports News understands the fee to be in excess of £6m.
Armstrong signed a new two-year contract last summer and only has a year left on his current deal with the Scottish Premiership champions.
He joined the club in 2015 from Dundee United and has made 98 appearances, scoring 23 goals in total.
Armstrong made his full Scotland international debut in March 2017, in a 1-0 win against Slovenia, and now has six caps in total to his name.
Crystal Palace and Brighton were also believed to be interested in his signature.
