Brendan Rodgers says he "loves the challenge" of coaching Celtic

Brendan Rodgers has denied his time at Celtic is coming to an end after he warned the club's fans they should be "worried" about their start to the season.

The Hoops are enduring their worst start to a Scottish Premiership season for 20 years and lost 2-1 to Kilmarnock on Sunday to leave them sixth in the table.

Following the match, Rodgers issued the warning to Celtic fans, but insists he wants to remain in Glasgow.

He said: "For me, I only gave that notion of them being alarmed purely because of how we've started the season and there should be nothing more than that.

"The only message I can give them is that I am absolutely privileged to be here. I want to continue to be here.

"Yes, we haven't had the start. Yes, we haven't had the Champions League qualification, but I still love my work here, love the challenges here.
