Oliver Burke says the opportunity to work with Brendan Rodgers drew him to Celtic, following his loan move from West Brom.
The 21-year-old Scottish forward joined the Hoops on Saturday until the end of the season, and is with the team on their mid-season training camp in Dubai.
Burke, whose game time has been limited at West Brom this season, says he is relishing the chance "to show what I'm capable of" at Celtic Park.
He told Sky Sports News: "I know I'm under the right manager here, under Brendan [Rodgers]. He's fantastic and influenced me a lot to come here, with the chat we had.
"I know he's the right man to help me develop and to get the very best out of me.
"I haven't played as many games as I would like to, but I know there is a possibility here for me.
"As soon as Celtic let us know, I was really keen. Here I am now and hopefully it's for the better."
Burke first made an impression with Nottingham Forest when he broke into the team at the City Ground in the 2015/16 season, and quickly earned himself a move to German side RB Leipzig.
However, he struggled to hold down a place with the Bundesliga side and also failed to get regular game time after moving to West Brom 18 months ago.
But Burke is looking forward to a fresh start north of the border, saying: "I just want to kick on now and get as many games as I can under my belt.
"I want to show what I'm capable of."
