Neil Lennon says Celtic are calm despite the possibility of clinching the Scottish Premiership title at Hibernian this weekend

Celtic manager Neil Lennon says his players are "calm" and "know what's at stake" going into a weekend that could see them confirmed as Scottish Premiership champions.

Lennon's side will retain the title if they win at his former club Hibernian on Sunday, live on Sky Sports, providing Rangers fail to win at Hearts on Saturday, also live on Sky Sports.

Celtic, who reached the Scottish Cup final last weekend, are 11 points clear of Rangers ahead of the weekend fixtures and know two more wins will guarantee they finish on top.

"It's going to take a very strong performance from us again," Lennon told Sky Sports News ahead of the trip to Easter Road.

"Hibs are on a great run, they're unbeaten under Paul (Heckingbottom) domestically in the league and I think they're dangerous opponents for us on Sunday.

"It's been a good week for us psychologically so we're keeping calm, we're looking forward to the game, and we know what's at stake in the league now.

"We go with the objective that two wins will guarantee us the title regardless.

"I know that could change if the result is different on Saturday at Tynecastle but we're going in with the mindset to win the two games and get over the line as quickly as we possibly can.

"But we know how difficult that is going to be, we know what a difficult opponent they are at home."

Lennon was asked for his reaction to comments this week from Rangers chairman Dave King who said his club are "within tangible reach" of becoming the dominant force in Scotland once again.

"I don't have an opinion on that, I just concentrate on what we're doing here at Celtic," Lennon added.

"It's just noise, we carry on with our business quietly, get on with things regardless of what other people say or throw at us and I think over the last ten years Celtic have been very, very consistent domestically."
