Striker looking forward to Parkhead challenge
Celtic new-boy Pawel Brozek insists he wasted little time deciding the SPL giants were the club for him.
The 28-year-old will spend the remainder of the season with the Bhoys after joining on loan from Trabzonspor.
Arch rivals Rangers were said to be interested in Brozek, but the striker did not hesitate when offered a Parkhead chance.
Determined
"Celtic were very determined to sign me so I never had any hesitation when they came in for me," explained Brozek.
"It's a very popular club with great players so I had no doubts about coming here.
"It was a pleasure that Celtic were interested in me and this was the only offer that counted.
"I am very happy that I have made it to the club and I will do everything to make sure I give as good a performance as possible."
Hungry
Brozek faces competition from Anthony Stokes and Gary Hooper to start and the striker has no qualms fighting for his place.
"I am a hungry player but I am not thinking about the national team at the moment," he continued.
"My main task is to fight for a place in the starting eleven at Celtic.
"If I manage to do that then I can start thinking about a place at the European Championships."
Return
Meanwhile, midfielder Efrain Juarez is back at Celtic following the conclusion of his loan spell with Real Zaragoza.
Manager Neil Lennon is pleased to have Juarez back in the fold with fellow midfielder Beram Kayal sidelined.
"We are pleased to have Efrain back after his loan spell ended in Spain, and he will provide us with some more options in the side, particularly with Beram being out injured, as we look ahead to the second half of the season," he told the club's
official website.
