Transfer news: Celtic sign Dundee United pair Stuart Armstrong and Gary Mackay-Steven

Celtic have completed the signing of midfielder Stuart Armstrong and winger Gary Mackay-Steven from Dundee United.
Gary Mackay-Steven had already signed a pre-contract agreement with the Scottish Champions, but Celtic manager Ronny Deila was keen to get the player on board now.
The 24-year-old has signed a four-year contract after Celtic agreed to pay the Tannadice club the asking price of £250,000 to release Mackay-Steven.
Armstrong passed his medical in Glasgow earlier in the evening, and has signed a three-and-a-half-year deal.
The 22-year-old will be officially unveiled by Celtic along with Mackay-Steven on Tuesday.
