Liverpool, Tottenham and Celtic have all been given tough draws in the group stage of this season's Europa League.

Liverpool will face a long trip to Rubin Kazan - the Russian city is 500 miles east of Moscow - with French side Bordeaux and Sion of Switzerland the other teams in their group.

Tottenham have a particularly tough draw. They face Belgian side Anderlecht, last season's Champions League quarter-finalists Monaco, and Qarabag of Azerbaijan - who ran Celtic close in the Champions League qualifying rounds earlier this season.

Celtic, Scotland's last representatives in Europe this season, also have a tricky task to advance. They take on Ajax Amsterdam, Robin van Persie's Fenerbahce and Molde of Norway.
