Rangers manager Mark Warburton says he hopes to add two more signings to his squad ahead of the new Scottish Premiership season.
Working with Head of Recruitment Frank McParland, Warburton has brought in eight new faces this summer, as Rangers prepare for life back in the top flight.
And the manager told Sky Sports News HQ that he is planning to make a couple of further additions, with another defender high on his shopping list.
"We are looking at one or two more to come in," said Warburton.
"Frank and his team are working very hard. We are close, we hope, on those two players.
"It was great to see Lee Hodson join (from MK Dons). Obviously, Niko (Kranjcar) and Clint (Hill) are already in.
"We are in good shape but we need to add one or two more and we will be OK."
Asked which positions still need addressing, Warburton added: "Attacking-wise and probably another defender to come in as well.
"Lee Hodson comes in and provides cover to the two full-backs, and Clint comes in alongside Rob Kiernan and Danny Wilson
"But I think four centre-halves would be ideal for us."
