Rangers duo Lee Wallace and Kenny Miller are considering contesting the severity of the fines issued to them following the Scottish Cup semi-final loss to Celtic, Sky Sports News understands.
Wallace and Miller have been fined for their part in the dressing room disorder in the immediate aftermath of the 4-0 defeat to their bitter city rivals in April, and were both suspended by the club after the fall-out with then-manager Graeme Murty.
Rangers captain Wallace is understood to have been fined four weeks wages. The 30-year-old has a year left on his existing contract but it remains unclear whether or not he has a long-term future at Rangers.
Miller is believed to have been fined a lesser amount. His contract officially expires on Friday, June 1 and the 38-year-old is not expected to remain at the club under new manager Steven Gerrard.
We understand both players are considering contesting the severity of the fines issued to them, and that a number of routes are open to them.
They can appeal to the club, or appeal instead to the SPFL and then the SFA.
Alternatively, they could bypass the footballing authorities and take their complaint to an employment tribunal.
