Rangers appeal against Alfredo Morelos red card vs Aberdeen

Rangers have appealed against the red card shown to Alfredo Morelos in the 4-2 win over Aberdeen.
Morelos scored twice in the first half at Pittodrie on Wednesday but was then sent off in the 53rd minute after clashing with Scott McKenna.
Morelos appeared to stamp on McKenna, before the Aberdeen defender aimed a kick at Morelos' face.
Both men were shown a straight red card by referee Bobby Madden - Morelos receiving his fourth red card of the season.
Rangers have appealed the decision with a hearing due to take place on Friday evening.
Morelos could feature in Saturday's Scottish Cup fifth-round tie against Kilmarnock if the appeal is successful.
Steven Gerrard has warned Morelos to improve his self-discipline after a fourth red card of the campaign.
"I think for Alfredo to go to the next level or to improve he will have to channel his aggression," said Gerrard.
