Reports in Scotland claimed that 'friends' of Frank's had said he would be meeting up again with his twin at Ibrox, after previously playing together at Ajax and Barcelona.
"I've read this information and it's false. I think that in a week I'll talk to Barcelona about an extension to my contract," the player explained.
"I understand that people are speculating regarding my future. Ronald has told me many good things about the city (Glasgow) and the team. However, Barcelona is the place I want to be and as far as I am concerned, I am not going anywhere.
"I am not looking for a new team. In an ideal world, I would finish my career at Barca and I really can't see myself playing in Scotland."
The defender said that is feeling better but that he is still not 100 percent fit, but he had to play because of the injury list that Barcelona had.
"I am almost at one hundred per cent. But to be like that you have to play some matches for the 90 minutes. I am not at my best level, but I am very close."
De Boer spoke also about the quality of Barcelona defence comparing it with last season's. "The defence depends on the whole team. The strikers and the midfielders must go back when the defenders do. In this way, Barcelona is now better."
Against Valencia, Carles Rexach will not be able to count on any of his new stars but against Bayer Leverkusen next week Phillipe Christanval will be able to play.
